Paperless Practice - Dream or Reality?

It's obvious that “paperless” practices are ultimately more efficient, secure and scalable and have the time and ability to provide the highest standard of patient care.

Banks, insurance companies, and even retail stores are now almost fully digitised yet why is the dental industry falling so far behind?

Being a ‘paperless’ practice doesn’t stop at running a computerised practice management system – it merely starts here. In order to maximise efficiency, minimise risk and keep your patient data secure dental practices must consider digitising and automating as many processes as possible.

With this in mind, we surveyed the market to investigate the desire, and uptake in running a paperless practice, and developed a best practice checklist as to how to achieve this.
